Jim
Reid has been there and done that. From a long stint in the
Ice Follies to teaching figure skaters full time up to National
levels. He is highly respected for his precision skate sharpening,
which puts him in a category next to very few! His expertise
was requested as the Official
Skate Servicing Team for the 2001
World Championships in Vancouver, BC, Canada, 2003 World
Championships Washington, DC, USA , 2008 BMO Canadian
Championships in Vancouver, BC, 2008 BMO Canadian
Syncrhonized Championships in Chilliwack, BC as well as the
upcoming 2009 ISU Four Continent Championships in Vancouver.
Jim will be providing technical support for athletes at the
2010 Olympics in Vancouver. |

Jim's
wife Diane, also has done her stint in the ice shows, touring
around the world at least a couple of times. Being an ex-skating
coach also, has helped her become a valuable member of the
Leading Edge Skate Shop team. |
